Every single product I produce is made by hand. Apart from my mugs, which are cast from a mould and then hand-painted, I shape each object individually. While every product is thoroughly checked for quality and consistency, the very nature of the process allows for slight variations and touches of individuality. As such, the item you receive may vary slightly from the one you see here on the website.
My ceramics are fired at extremely high temperatures to ensure that is hardy and durable. However, the firing process in the kiln can occasionally result in a slightly under-fired glaze that could develop small hairline cracks weeks or even months down the line. This does not affect or weaken the product in any way – it merely adds a dash of character.
With all this in mind, my policy is to only replace or refund products that are technically defective. Please bear this in mind when making your purchase.
I supply a limited number of stockists throughout South Africa with curated selections of once-off ceramic jewellery pieces. These singular collections are assembled to reflect the lovely environments in which each of these retailers share their wares. When you purchase earrings or pendants from any one of these stockists, the item you take home is wholly unique. I take great joy in tailoring these curated selections, so do visit our stockists in person if you have the opportunity.
